What is an advertiser? You probably know, but there are different kinds of those on the net. Be sure to choose the right one the first time! All of them will give you a little HTML-code to past into your pages, and you will start earn money. But some pays more than others, and some display banners from big and serious companies wich probably will give you a higher CTR!

Lend out some advertising space on your site and you will most likely make some money, a usual banner is around 468x60 pixels and won't take up any greater space or bandwidth. Just compare it to the ads in a normal newspaper or the commercial breaks on TV, they are all making big money out of it.

How much will you make then? Well, that depends on a lot of different factors, the content of your site, the design on the site, your traffic, and of course your selection of sponsor.

What does all these weird words mean:

Here's an explanation of the words you may not have heard of in this guide:

• CTR: Means "Click-through rate" and means how many of your visitors wich actually clicks on the banner on your site. CTR are showed in percent.
• Pay Per Impression: An advertiser that pays you each time a user sees the banner (that mean every visitor on your site...).
• Pay Per Click: As the word indicate - this is the advertisers that pays you each time a visitor clicks on the banner
• Ratio: Most used when you talk about Banner Exchange networks. If the rate is 2:1, they display your banner 1 time for every 2nd visit your site has.
